Larry takes his position in a Formula Dodge. These racing machines sure feel like the Formula One's you see on TV. You need a full day's training at Laguna Seca Raceway to familiarize yourself with the handing of the vehicle.

Squeezing in

 Everyone is suited up in a fireproof racing uniform as well as a fireproof head covering. It takes a minute or so to wedge yourself into the race car. Controls are straight forward but very, very responsive.

On the track

 Getting onto the track is very SWILD. The rumble of the engines starting, the smell of the gas fumes, and the roar of your adrenaline sure makes you feel alive.

Vrrroooom!!

Paul is zooming around the track against the clock. Some of the turns are terrifying. If you go too fast, you'll hit the wall at the other side. Not a nice prospect. It is essential to use your gears appropriately. Anticipation and finding the line can be very tricky to master.
