Tandem parapenting from Aspen sure gets the adrenaline going. Paul can be seen here with tandem instructor just after a rocket style launch. We had an excellent thermal and ridge lift that catapulted us into the air after a couple of steps. It was pretty brisk floating around, but the view was great.

Paul and instructor go over the launch. When the time comes you really have to have your act together. Running through the snow can be pretty difficult.

"Run, run, run!" It's launch time during an excellent cycle. Once the canopy is inflated, level and straight - getting airborne is important. Floating away on an express elevator sure feels great!
